When the client’s planning permission required the retention of the existing façade above the new full plot basement, BTR worked with the main contractor from an early stage to develop the scheme into an efficient and workable solution. BTR’s package included temporary works design and installation, piling, sheet piling, utility diversions, basement excavation, underpinning, top down construction, basement RC works, waterproofing, structural steelwork and RC slabs.
